Jason Freed

Co-Founder CIO Chief Innovation Officer

Jason Freed is a former Account Director of Marketing for several Fortune 300 companies who thrives on innovative ideas that make a positive impact on the world. To wholeheartedly follow through on his desire to make a positive impact in the world he received his Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy where he has helped hundreds of people achieve their highest level of quality of life after having strokes, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, fractures and struggling with neurodegenerative diseases.

Jason has played sports most of his life and understands that being an athlete and playing sports can teach the rewards of hard work, respect, building your character, having fun, and being passionate at the same time, how to be a leader and how to manage your emotions all of which helped him develop into the person he is today. Understanding the value of sports while also understanding the value of meaningful occupations (activities we choose to engage in that "occupy" our time) and mixing that with his passion for finances which includes cryptocurrencies and NFTs has led him to be the Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) of The Sports Initiative (TSI).

"Millions of us have had the opportunity and ability to play at least one sport, but so many more could benefit from access to sports and all of the staggering advantages that sports can bring people. Sports can and should be universally accessible regardless of age, skin color, ability/disability, religion, gender, identity, or any other segregating factors. Sports have the ability to unite, build, nourish and connect us in ways that we never thought possible which is why I firmly and eternally support The Sports Initiative and its amazing efforts to help those athletes and future athletes in need so that they, too, can experience all that sports can offer us."
